Blast From The Past

Tonight Kate and I went to see Starlight Express

I had seen this when I was still about 11, Kate also saw it a decade later when she was a similar age.

We were sat within the circuit that the performers skated as they sang.

The moving stage pieces, the lights and the overall immmersion really took me back to when I first saw the production even though the whole performance had been modernised.

The show was at a theatre very near to Wembly Stadium on a night that Bruce Springstien was playing at the main event!

Although we'd booked a parking space all the roads around the statium were cordened off. We ended up parking two stops away and getting the tube train in to the area.

It was a really good night, both Kate and I really enjoyed it.
