Unique Opportunities
In the late 90s I was regularly commuting between South East London and Kensington in London. At the time the London Underground was going though a lot of renovations and I just happened to look up while on the platform at Westminster underground station.
It was only a few days later that the hole was covered over as Portcullis house was constructed above the opening.
This is one of my favourite photographs as it can't be repeated. The photograph was taken on film as digital cameras of the time were very expensive and very poor quality.
