Changing Podcast Player

Changing podcast player is such a pain. Will this player finally do what I want, what a player I was using 15 years ago did nicely until it dissappeared?

My requirements for listening to a podcast have gotten less and less as player after player has failed on the most basic of tasks.

I really am starting to feel that if I want a podcast app that does all the things I need, I may have to write the app myself!

So here's another spreadsheet, or perhaps re-opening an old one, to track what episodes of what podcast I'm on just in case it all goes wrong again!
