Upgades

I bought my Steam Deck in September 2022. Three and a half years later I'm upgrading. One of the main attractions of the Steam Deck for me over the competition was the fact that this system is so fixable. The case is held together with clips and screws, the insides of the device are different boards for different tasks, it's even possible to replace the screen yourself.

I went for the easiest replacement, swapped out the original 256GB SSD for a 2TB SSD.

I had been storing games on an SD card which, while it worked, did slow the launch of the games considerably. Moving them to the new NVMe 2TB SSD and they're loading far quicker!
