Should Pineapple Only Be In Deserts?

Growing up we used to have pineapple rings on gammon. I've never tried pineapple on pizza and I don't see that changing any time soon but two recent experiences have popped up that I wasn't expecting.

Kate recently made a pineapple salad, finely diced pineapple and onion, to go in a wrap with thin strips of beef or chicken, almost a salsa but not quite. Utterly delicious.

Today at a local "farmer's market" I tried some pineapple salsa. A sweet taste with an afterbite of chilli. Again a delicious combination. WWW.THESALSAKINGUK.COM
