More Power

I received the solar housing for my Meshtastic node on Tuesday around lunch time. The weather on Tuesday was pretty good, however by 4am on Wednesday the battery died as it had not been sufficiently charged.

The node still had enough power to be pingable via it's IP but the LoRa side had stopped working.

The node came back to life quite late in the morning, around 10:45am.

With the charge from Wednesday the node made it through the night and is now still running just after 8am.

I can see that my office based solar panel is collecting energy so I assume that the node one is too and hopefully this will keep the node running and the charging will only get better as the sun gets stronger.

I will be checking the logs for the node to see whether the voltage is correctly shown.
