Office Space

Laying the floor in the office gives a real feel of progress.

Over the weekend I've moved all the tools that I'm not using for the decorating out into the shed. The painting tools are still in the hall ready to get back to painting the attic stairwell.

The flooring in the office is the same as in both the girl's rooms. The flooring, packed, was originally stacked in the hall. When Jude and I moved into the attic bedroom the flooring was then stacked in the front bedroom. Once Maia's room was ready I laid the floor in her room. The floor in the front bedroom had to be lifted as the chimney was taken out and wall plastered, then re-laid with additional flooring where the fitted wardrobe and chimney had been. Once all the floor in the front bedroom was done the remaining packages were moved up under our bed in the attic.

With the laying of this floor the remaining pack can be buried in the shed, never to be seen again!
